Privacy Policy

Lanning Robotics ([legal name of the business]Fixture: not yet approved for publication, [registered address]Fixture: not yet approved for publication) decides how your personal data is used on this site and is responsible for it. Write to support@lanningrobotics.com about anything in this policy.

• Your account: your email address, your password (we keep only a hash of it), your display name and your username.
• Your orders: what you bought, when, and the amount. You pay through Stripe, and we never see your card number.
• What you use: the files you download and your progress through courses. A downloaded file may carry a mark that ties it to your order, so that a copy shared without permission can be traced.
• Messages: what you write to us, and our replies.
• Security: your IP address and browser details, to stop abuse of our forms and keep the site running.
• Usage: the pages you view and a few named actions, counted without cookies and without a profile of you.

• To run your account, your purchases, your downloads and your courses: our contract with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
• To keep order records for tax and accounting: a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
• To keep the site secure, find what breaks, and learn how it is used: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), which you can object to.
• We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or send you marketing email.

• Vercel: Hosts and serves the site. Each request: your IP address, browser details and the page asked for, in its server logs.
• Cloudflare: Our domains' DNS and email routing, the bot check on our forms (Turnstile), and storage for the files you download (R2). Emails you send us, in transit; your IP address and browser signals during a bot check; nothing about you in stored files.
• Supabase: Your account and our database. Your email address, a hash of your password, your profile, and the records of your orders, downloads and course progress.
• Stripe: Takes payments and works out the tax due. Your card details, which go to Stripe and never to us, your billing country, and the amount paid. We keep Stripe's payment reference.
• Postmark: Sends our emails: receipts, and the links that confirm your address or reset your password. Your email address and the email we send you.
• Upstash: Limits how often a form can be sent, to stop abuse. Your IP address, held for the length of the limit's window.
• Sentry: Tells us when the site breaks. Error reports: the page, the technical context of the failure, and request details that can include your IP address. Email addresses are removed before a report is sent.
• PostHog (EU): Counts how the site is used, so we can improve it. The pages viewed and a few named actions, such as opening a product. No cookies or other storage on your device and no profile of you. PostHog sees your IP address with each request.

• Your account: until you delete it, which you can do in Settings.

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to how we use it, and take it to another service. Write to support@lanningrobotics.com; we answer within a month. You can also complain to the Hungarian data protection authority, the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (naih.hu).

We store only what the site needs to work: once you sign in, a cookie that keeps you signed in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies, and counting how the site is used stores nothing on your device.

When this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and we tell account holders by email about a change that affects them.
